Confusion and Clomid

“My partner and I decided to start trying for a baby in December 2022 but did not really know that much about ovulation, other than the fact it is ‘usually’ about halfway through a cycle. However, PCOS has always made it difficult for me to track and predict my cycle - and pinpoint ovulation.

We went about 10 months with, sadly, no success. My OB/GYN suspected I was having anovulatory cycles and prescribed Clomid - but we wanted to try and proceed naturally first.

Mira makes a difference

That’s when I discovered Mira. I started tracking my LH, E3G, and PdG - I’m a scientist, and having the quantitative data for 3 hormones appealed to my and my husbandʼs desire for more details!

We used Mira for a couple of cycles and got to really know my fertile window, which meant we were able to direct our efforts when it came to having sex!

Then on our most recent cycle (our 3rd with Mira) 14 days after Miraʼs told me I ovulated, we got a positive pregnancy test result! When I started using Mira my main aim was to conceive naturally - and it definitely helped us achieve that goal. I’m so grateful.

Advice for others

I would recommend Mira to anyone struggling to conceive or looking for more information about their cycle. Not only is it really helpful for pinpointing ovulation, but knowing your numbers allows you to have informed conversations with your care team & partner. This made a huge difference in my journey - I’m sure it will help you with yours too!”
