Personally, I’ve always been a writer. Professionally, my writing journey began shortly after I wrapped up my master’s dissertation. Eager to write in the ‘real world’ instead of the world of academia, I embraced an opportunity with an online mental health platform and began supporting them with blogger outreach, editing, and content development. Over time, I grew to really love learning about (and writing about) the often complex intersections between our health, wellbeing, environment, and lifestyle.
In early 2021, I joined the Mira writing team and have thoroughly enjoyed learning all about fertility, hormone health, and the power of FemTech! I’ll admit, sometimes I feel like I’m back in college doing my biology homework - but it’s all worth it when I read a finished piece back to myself and realize I’ve actually learned something new about my body and how it works.
As a communications specialist, I love getting to break down some of the complex themes surrounding fertility and make them more accessible. As a human being, I am immensely proud to be a part of the broader movement that aims to close the research gap in reproductive health and wellbeing.
