When Hope Meets Science: Mira Community’s TTC Journeys

Trying to conceive can be a journey balancing different emotions like hope, anticipation, uncertainty, and sometimes loss. But for many in the Mira community, it also brings discovery. With real hormone patterns, they learned when (and whether) they were ovulating, regained trust in their bodies, and found a way forward.

Some conceived naturally after repeated IVF attempts. Others learned they ovulated later than apps or strips predicted. A few are pregnant after miscarriage; others are early on and cautiously hopeful. These are real voices from our community’s written submissions, shared exactly as they wished: honest, direct, and hopeful.

What connects them all is the clarity Mira provided, turning confusion into knowledge, and knowledge into possibility.

Finding Light After Loss

For Brandy, the road to pregnancy began with heartbreak. First came a missed miscarriage at nine weeks, followed by a chemical pregnancy just months later. Her cycles soon spiraled into chaos, leaving her unsure of what her body was doing.

When she started using Mira, she discovered she wasn’t ovulating at all—for five consecutive cycles. That knowledge, while difficult, gave her answers she hadn’t had before. With the help of a hormone health practitioner through Mira’s Hormone Health Clinic, following a guided conception plan, things began to change. Between her second and third consultation, she finally confirmed a healthy ovulation.

That single ovulation became the moment Brandy had been waiting for. It resulted in a pregnancy.

“Bloodwork looked great, and we are cautiously optimistic about the outcome.”

When “Never” Turned Into One Cycle

Rebecca and her husband were told over and over again that natural conception wasn’t possible. After a vasectomy reversal, their doctors insisted the only path forward was IVF. Even the fertility specialist confirmed the same, urging them to skip IUI entirely: if they wanted a chance, it would have to be IVF.

They began the process, completed every test, and even prepared to spend thousands of dollars on hormone shots. But the night before their appointment, both of them broke down. “We can’t do this,” Rebecca said. They canceled everything.

Months later, she kept hearing about Mira. A friend had used it, and Rebecca decided to try, just once, to see what would happen.

“One cycle on Mira—and we’re pregnant! I tracked my hormones exactly as instructed, and now here we are, living what we were told was impossible. Mira gave us hope when we thought there was none.”

A Natural Yes After Years of Treatment

Jessica and her husband spent seven years in IVF. Twice, they saw two lines, and twice, they lost the pregnancies. They paused treatment to catch their breath and decided to try Mira.

To their surprise, a second cycle was all it took.

“We’re currently pregnant with a very healthy baby on the way. We’ve never been pregnant naturally. The bottom line is never give up because it will eventually happen.”

Patience, Persistence, and Peace of Mind

For Melody, the journey began with an early miscarriage nearly three years ago. Months turned into years of trying without success, and with age becoming a concern, she and her partner turned to embryo freezing. The first round of egg retrieval left her devastated; only one egg, and it wasn’t viable. The second round gave them four eggs, but just one made it to a healthy embryo.

They chose to keep that embryo as a backup and decided to continue trying naturally. That’s when Melody began using Mira. She had often experienced Mittleschmerz, the twinge that can signal ovulation, but she was never certain of the timing. Mira helped her see a clear pattern, showing her that her cycles were still regular and that her body was working as it should.

For more than a year, she relied on Mira to guide her timing. Finally, she conceived naturally, while still keeping that one healthy embryo in reserve.

“The tracker gave me peace of mind that I was having a regular cycle and pregnancy was still possible.”

Overcoming PCOS Confusion

Yazmin had been actively trying to conceive for seven months when everything suddenly stopped. After an HSG and multiple ultrasounds, she received a diagnosis of PCOS. The news left her discouraged, and the cycle tracking tools she had been relying on only made things worse. Strips and generic apps told her she had already ovulated, yet her tests kept coming back dark days later, leaving her confused and uncertain.

Then a nurse at her gynecologist’s office asked if she had heard of Mira. Yazmin had seen ads but never knew if it was worth trying, until the nurse said she wished she’d had Mira during her own TTC journey. That was all the encouragement Yazmin needed.

With Mira, the picture became clear. She realized her ovulation was happening a full week later than the apps and strips predicted. That single shift in knowledge changed everything.

“My FIRST time using Mira, coupled with a fertility medication, I'm now 22 weeks with my baby.”

A New Path After Failed Treatments

After six failed IVF cycles, Rachel was ready for a different approach. Each attempt had ended in heartbreak, and the weight of repeated disappointment was heavy. She decided to step away from treatments and turned to Mira instead, using it month after month to track her cycles.

Nine months later, she conceived naturally. For the first time, she also had the confidence of monitoring her progesterone, which gave her reassurance after a history of losses.

“I switched to MIRA after 6 failed IVF Cycles. We conceived naturally 9 months after using it monthly. I monitored my progesterone too, which helped us sustain the pregnancy after a history of losses. We are now trying again!”

A Note of Hope

These stories don’t follow the same path, but they share similarities: clearer cycles, more confidence, and hope returning after setbacks, after IVF, after PCOS confusion, after loss.

Some are only a few weeks in, some are well into the second trimester, and some are still trying with new insight and timing that finally makes sense. Mira is the thread running through all of these tales of hope and perseverance. Sharing these experiences helps others feel less alone and reminds us that progress can look many ways.
