Wearables estimate stress indirectly using signals such as heart rate. Mira tracks urinary free cortisol—a biological signal related to stress patterns—and shows how it changes over time against your personal baseline.
After each test, you'll receive a personalized daily stress score. Over time, Mira builds your personal baseline and shows how your stress patterns shift across days and weeks, alongside the cycle, and lifestyle information you log — so you can tell whether your routines are making a difference. The Mira App will also guide you throughout your journey and provide personalized lifestyle recommendations to support your well-being.
Start with about a week of daily testing to build your personal baseline. After that, the Mira App will guide you to test a few times a week, so tracking stays simple and manageable.
For deeper insights into your daily rhythm, we recommend testing twice a day—once in the morning and once in the evening—so you can see how your pattern shifts throughout the day and whether your body follows a typical wind-down pattern by evening. The Wands included in the Kit are designed to cover roughly your first month of tracking.
Yes. The Monitor is reusable and works with Cortisol Pattern™ Wands and other Mira Wands. You can reorder Wands separately, and all your results will appear in the same Mira App.
