For the most accurate early result, use your first-morning urine, which has the highest concentration of hCG. You can test up 6 days before missed period, but accuracy improves the closer you are to your missed period.
The Mira Early Detection Pregnancy Test’s ultra-high 10 mIU/mL sensitivity detects very low hCG levels up to 6 days before a missed period. For the most reliable results, test on or after your expected period date.
Over 99% accurate from the day your period is due. Accuracy drops if you test earlier: 78% at 5 days before and 38% at 6 days before. For best results, test on or after the day your period is due.
The Mira Early Detection Pregnancy Test is designed for both methods—you can either hold it directly in your urine stream or dip it into a collected sample. Either way, it works the same.
Read your result within 5–10 minutes:
• One line on the right = not pregnant
• Two lines = pregnant (a faint colored left line still counts)
• No lines, or only a red line on the left = invalid; retest with a new device
Do not read the result after 10 minutes, as lines that appear later may be evaporation lines, not a true positive. A true positive left line has a clear red or pink color, even if faint. If you’re unsure, wait 2 days and test again—hCG levels generally double every 48 hours in early pregnancy.
